Peer and Psychosocial Support Service for Children and Young People with Innate Variations of Sex Characteristics and their Whānau
Opportunity details
OpenBudget 2022 allocated $2.516 million over four years to initiatives aimed at implementing rights-based healthcare for children and young people with IVSC and their whānau, including funding for the delivery of PPSS for children and young people with IVSC and their whānau.
Following a co-design process through 2024 and early 2025, we are now seeking a partner (or partners) to deliver the service.
Amongst other things, the PPSS must:
• deliver a safe, confidential and flexible service to provide children and young people with IVSC (up to and including the age of 25) and their whānau, with tailored support about IVSC
• help build the resiliency of children and young people with IVSC and their whānau
• uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• ensure equitable service delivery for priority populations, including for Māori, Pacific peoples and tāngata whaikaha (disabled people)
• work collaboratively with other providers delivering on the IVSC initiative, as well as the independent evaluator.
This procurement process is intended to be highly collaborative, and could include potential arrangements such as:
• a consortium, or memorandum of understanding between multiple organisations
• a primary contract holder subcontracting with other organisation(s) to support service delivery and ensure contract deliverables are met
• any other options proposed by the collaborative group.
All interested providers will have an opportunity to ask questions via email and through attendance at supplier briefings. We encourage all interested providers to register with GETS and subscribe to the notice to receive timely updates regarding this ROI. Alternatively, you can register your interest by contacting [REDACTED].
