UC is seeking a qualified IQP provider to deliver BWOF inspection and certification services of named Mechanical Specified Systems across its campuses. The IQP/BWOF provider will have a strong HVAC, smoke control, fire compliance, and emergency systems capability.
The work involves carrying out inspections, reviewing maintenance and reporting on a building's specified systems to identifying compliance risks, and issuing certification required under the Building Act. This is critical work that directly supports UC’s ability to meet its legal compliance obligations.
The systems have been split into two scopes. Suppliers can submit a proposal for either of the scopes. If a supplier is able to deliver both scopes, please indicate this as well and submit your proposal accordingly.
The scopes are split as follows:
SCOPE 1: SS4 Emergency Lighting and SS14.1 Emergency Power Systems
SCOPE 2: SS5 Escape Route Pressurisation System; SS9 Mechanical Ventilation or Air Conditioning Systems; SS13.1 Mechanical Smoke Control Systems; SS13.2 Natural Smoke Control; SS13.3 Smoke Curtain
UC prefers a provider that delivers the majority of the services using its own in-house resources, rather than primarily acting as an intermediary and subcontracting the work to third parties.
Please make note of all the deadlines (questions, site visit and submission). All questions need to be raised via GETS; registering for the site visit can also be done through the same function in GETS.
