Auckland DHB Deconstruction of Building A13 (refer 11 x attachments) As part of the Facilities Infrastructure Remediation Programme, a new central plant building and associated horizontal infrastructure will be constructed at Auckland City Hospital. As part of this project a number of buildings will need to be deconstructed due to the proposed alignment of the new Tunnel. This project relates specifically to the Deconstruction of A13 Building. The A13 Building is located adjacent to A09 (Cytotoxic Pharmacy, which produces Chemotherapy drugs), A08 (Oncology Department, which treats immunocompromised cancer patients), A35 (Acute Mental Health) and Auckland Domain (public park). We require a Contractor to manage the deconstruction of A13 down to slab with no disturbance to the soil. Removal of slab will be undertaken under a separate contract. The site is to be finished to a level that enables use for either temporary parking arrangements, or for use as a laydown area for contractors at Auckland City Hospital while keeping the building slab intact. Protection of neighbouring buildings, trees and barrier arm is required. Reinstatement of carpark pavement if required.
