As part of Council's ongoing development programme, Royal Reserve has funding for improvements. The desire is for Royal Reserve to become a destination park with a large playground and 'learn to ride' bicycle path, where families may spend the day together. Budget is provided for design in 2015-16 and build in 2016-17. A design / engineering consultant is required to take the concept design through to detailed design, obtain any necessary consents, and to supervise and monitor the physical works. It is likely that the successful tenderer would be a multi-disciplinary consultancy or a consortium of engineers/landscape architects, planner etc.
