Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) provides sponsorship and support to approximately 30 events per year. There is a requirement to evaluate these events to ensure that ratepayers are receiving value for money. The ATEED Statement of Intent (SOI) sets out a number of key performance measures, which this piece of evaluation research will need to contribute to. These key criteria include: - Estimated number of attendees at major events invested in - Percentage of customers satisfied with delivered major events - GDP generated from major events invested in - Visitor nights generated by major events invested in Through this RFP, the Council Organisation invites proposals for the provision of professional services to contribute to ATEED's event evaluation programme. The aim of the Council Organisation in this process is to obtain sufficiently detailed information from potential suppliers of these professional services about their respective organisations and their ability to provide the goods and/or services (having regard to several factors including the quality of the goods and/or services the supplier's ability to deliver on a timely basis, and price), to enable the Council Organisation to select and appoint a party (or parties) to provide the goods and/or services
