The University of Auckland is requesting tenders for preventative and corrective maintenance on high voltage equipment. This equipment is located in 18 buildings across the University's City, Grafton and Newmarket campuses in central Auckland. The equipment includes dry transformers, oil filled transformers, protection relays, breakers, switches, switch fuses, protection batteries, transformer cooling fans, ring main units, HV switchboards, earthing arrangements.
Service providers intending to respond are to email a completed Document B Intention to Lodge document to [REDACTED] by 2pm, Tuesday 2nd September.
A site visit will be held on Thursday, 4 September commencing at 9am. Location details will be emailed to service providers who have sent the Intention to Lodge.
RFT responses are to be submitted by 2pm, Wednesday 17 September.
The successful service providers will have the capacity, depth of experience, and a proven track-record for providing High Voltage Maintenance Services to organisations of a similar scale to the University. Relevant experience and suitable resource capacity to undertake the required services are prime criteria.
Attachments to the RFT include: Document A Instructions for Respondents; Document B Intention to Lodge Tender; Document C Response Form; Document D High Voltage Maintenance Services Agreement (draft).
