OpenThis procurement seeks to obtain a capable and competent supplier to work alongside the Principal and Principals agents and carry out the physical works as prescribed to a quality standard, within timeframe and budget.
This RFT is a measure and value contract and is for strengthening and repairs to Mairs Bridge #107 on Westbank Road. The physical work consists of the following items:
• Establishment and disestablishment.
• Temporary traffic management and planning.
• Access and containment.
• Location and protection of prescribed utilities.
• Installation of bracing between beams at the midspan of each span.
• Removal of existing surfacing and installation of plywood members and timber running planks across the length of the structure.
• Augmentation of the existing abutment piles with reinforced concrete.
• Repair / strengthening of decayed corbels.
• Any other works described or implied in the specifications and construction drawings.
