Main Building Contractor for Block 8 Alterations & Refurbishment at Whanganui Intermediate School

The Board of Trustees for Whanganui Intermediate School are seeking a suitably qualified Main Building Contractor to carry out the Block 8 Alterations & Refurbishment.

The scope of works consists of refurbishing the main 4 classrooms and turning existing toilet blocks into break out spaces with smaller toilet capacity, all floor and walls surfaces will be replaced, large stacker slider do... The Board of Trustees for Whanganui Intermediate School are seeking a suitably qualified Main Building Contractor to carry out the Block 8 Alterations & Refurbishment.

The scope of works consists of refurbishing the main 4 classrooms and turning existing toilet blocks into break out spaces with smaller toilet capacity, all floor and walls surfaces will be replaced, large stacker slider doors will be fitted between classrooms, all older louvre type windows will be replaced, a new roof canopy across the front of the block over a new deck with a small canopy and deck to the rear of the building also. Electrical, painting, Security and fire alarm work all form the proposed work to this block.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed and consent is approved.
