The Initial Response Supplier (IRS) procurement activity is to be conducted for the SCS programme to ensure a whole of network approach is adopted to enable NZTA road safety outcomes. These strategic outcomes involve the reduction of deaths and serious injuries (DSIs) which safety cameras have been proven to do.
The intended outcome of this procurement is to identify a suitable preferred supplier, or suppliers, to deliver a nation-wide remediation, maintenance and repair services to the fixed (static) camera sites on the road network. NZTA expects this procurement activity will require subcontractor relationships.
This procurement activity is not related to the IDC. All responsibilities of the IDC are excluded from the scope of this procurement.
