This RFP is issued by West Coast Regional Council (WCRC), referred to below as “the Buyer” or “we” or “us”.
The Hokitika Flood and Coastal Erosion Protection Project forms part of the Climate Resilience Programme of Flood Protection co-funded by the Central Government, West Coast Regional Council (WCRC) and Westland District Council (WDC). The overall programme of work consists of raising 2.8km of existing stopbanks to provide additional flood protection to the Hokitika township. The desired Level of Service is 1% AEP plus 0.4m for storm surge, plus 1.0m for climate change, plus an appropriate freeboard.
Due to the physical extent of works the project has been split into stages. Work to Stage 1 is complete and WCRC are now looking to progress raising the Stage 3 section of stopbank.
We are seeking Respondents that have the ability to provide engineering services as outlined, including engagement of sub-consultants and suppliers as needed for the complete scope of work.
